Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HireReady ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

HireReady is operated by HireReady Pvt Ltd.

2. Description of Service

HireReady provides an AI-powered job application toolkit including:

  • Resume building and tailoring
  • ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring
  • Cover letter generation
  • Mock interview coaching (text and voice)
  • Job application tracking

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist users. All AI-generated content is a suggestion only — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying it before use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use HireReady. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless you have purchased a business or school plan.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is prohibited.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Plans

HireReady offers Free, Pro, and Premium subscription plans. Plan details, features, and pricing are described on our Pricing page.

5.2 Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Payments are processed securely through Paddle (our Merchant of Record) or PayPal.
  • By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5.4 Taxes

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Paddle, as our Merchant of Record, handles tax collection and remittance where required.

6. Refund Policy

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Monthly plans: refunds within 3 days of initial purchase only.
  • Annual plans: refunds within 7 days of initial purchase only.
  • No refunds after the eligible period or for partial months.

7. Free Tier Limitations

The Free plan is subject to usage limits as described on the Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice. Abuse of the free tier (including creating multiple accounts) will result in account termination.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Use AI-generated resumes to misrepresent qualifications to employers
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Upload content that is defamatory, offensive, or violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription limits through technical means

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Content

The HireReady platform, design, code, and branding are owned by the Company. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, work history, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and display it solely to provide the Service to you.

9.3 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated outputs (resume text, cover letters, interview feedback) are provided to you for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of these outputs.

10. Privacy

Your use of HireReady is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

HireReady is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
  • That using HireReady will result in job offers or interviews
  • That ATS scores reflect how any specific employer's system will evaluate your resume

Job outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. HireReady is a tool to assist you — not a guarantee of employment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of employment opportunities or income
  • Reliance on AI-generated content
  • Data loss due to technical failures

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted, unless required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if unresolved.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
